Re: Episode 8 - London Fogcutter

Brilliant.  And don't discount episode 7—I've sold people on the show because of it.  It's a great diversion from the norm.  Not that the norm is bad.  Quite contrary—the norm is good...

Mmmm... good norm...

I fear I've said too much already.  I digress—Great job!

Re: Episode 8 - London Fogcutter

Dear Tiki Crew,

I will sadly admit here that, as spawn of colonial revolutionaries, I've always been a little skeptical about the authority of, and if truth be told, the regal majesty of Her Royal Highness, The Queen.

Imagine my surprise and embarrassment after watching this episode, finding myself surrounded by a baker's dozen or so wadded kleenexes as my cheeky American patriotism melted away, revealing my primoridial predisposition as a loyal liege of the crown.  I mean, The Crown. Thank you for setting me straight!

Christ.

And, the kleenexes were used to wipe away tears.
And that is not a metaphor or anything.

Great episode kids!

Sorry Captain Johnny, but that was me posting the stuff about my penile enlargement surgery. It worked really well, but now I pee sideways. That's normal right?

to put it plainly, excellent work; better than 99% of all tv i have seen.  (but then again, i havent had a tv for  about 8 years.)

I just found your blog-show-iPod-cooking-how-do-you-do-moving-pictuer-show-thing, and I must say.

HA! HA!

Finally something on the Internet I can connect with in a not totally sexual way (due to your lack of fetish porn content), but only in a like 88% sexual way the other how ever many percent I have left after 88% is all laughing and things of that nature.

P.S. Tiki Bar TV needs more fetish porn content or any content...hopfully with fetish porn.

At some point you guys are going to be so big that New York Giants running back, Tiki Barber, will [i]have</I> to appear on the show.

When Tiki Bar Tv has New York Giants running back Tiki Barber on the show, it will have jumped the shark.  :-)

Re: Episode 8 - London Fogcutter

I never thought a Google search on 'tiki bar' would produce such entertaining results. I have been watching these all day and laughing heartily (like a pirate: yo ho ho!). I never did find a Tiki bar to match the one in 'The Big Lebowski,' though (the original goal of my search).

Boy, that ukelele in episode 6 sure sounds like a banjo. Nice use of Bob Nolan's 'Way Out There.' Could you tell us the name of the recording artist and the record title etc.?

Must. Stop. Watching. Tiki Bar TV. And write. Important. Doctoral dissertation.

Re: Episode 8 - London Fogcutter

After watching this episode, my head was a little foggy... not sure if it was my mind playing tricks on me or if I had  too many hits from my bong... yet for some reason I laughed and I cried, but I mostly laughed with very little crying... ok no crying at all, except when I went to Bangkok by going through turnstyle backwards.  All in all I give this episode 4.3 stars out of 4.

I think I know the name of the Tiki Bar TV theme music!  Dr. Tiki, or Johnny Johnny, (aka 'keepers of the 8-track?') please verify the theme music is Voodoo Dreams by Martin Denny from the album Hypnotique.

Re: Episode 8 - London Fogcutter

8 episodes?  You can't tell me these take more than a half hour to produce.  Plus half an hour cleanup and devolving experimentation.  More drunkenness.  more revelry!  Maybe an A-Team  vs '8 is enough' show.  But with fewer people, as per your format.  And mixed drinks.  I should have had some food with lunch today.  Good work!

iTunes 5.0 disables sharing? What have YOU been drinking? I'm at work right now (yes, we have REAL JOBS outside of the bar!) and i'm enjoying Groove Salad via internet radio while four of my co-workers are sharing the music on my Powerbook via our gigabit network. It's working fine!

Speak ill of the poor iTunes QA folks no more!

On the subject of RL Tiki, i would recommend a fabulous joint in Islamorada, FL. At the Holiday Isle resort. Its quite possibly the finest Tiki in the USA. 'Bartenders Bash' is the annual party to be at. Can you say TikiBarTV this mothers day? Info and pics here. http://www.partybor.com/hospexpo.htm

Oh, Hey Amanda... ah... see, the Doctor, yeah, he's out. Out of town. For, like... ever. So you should go ahead and email me. You know, to fill in for him. And stuff. Perhaps I could fix you a delicious beverage, or something. Or anything.

Ah, so, there you go. Yes. Ah, so there. Ok then. Nice talking with you. Erm.. I gotta go.
